"The 1940s Radio Show"
a theatrical production
starring Tom & Cindy Rasely
The
time is the middle of World War II. Our boys are "over there".
Rationing is a reality.
But entertainment is still entertainment.
"The 1940s Radio
Show" is a tribute to
the
Golden Days of Radio...
when
live broadcasts were the state-of-the-art.

Here are some highlights from the WRDO Program Guide:
A nod to Fred Allen with "Cindy's Side Street"
A tribute to Edgar Bergen & Charlie McCarthy with Tom
& George
A complete (but very short) version of the Wizard of Oz
Helpful Household Hints with Mrs. Reginald T. Vanderholmes
An exciting episode of "The Green Shadow"
And a host of others!
The full show is one hour and 30
minutes, the first "act" being a 40s sing-along, as we "warm
up" for the big broadcast (Act II). Songs by Glenn Miller, the Andrews
Sisters, and popular movie songs. See the fee information below.
Upcoming dates are listed on the Road Schedule page.
