"Acoustic Intersection" Tom Rasely & Scott B. Adams

"Acoustic Intersection" is a collection of traditional and modern folk songs plus one original song. It is the product of a long-time musical partnership between two finely seasoned guitarist; but more than that it is the result of a long friendship. Tom and Scott started working together in 1985, producing melodic instrumental music. With "Acoustic Intersection" they have created fresh, guitar duet arrangements of some of your favorite songs, including:

Sounds of Silence; He's Gone Away; Streets of Laredo; Down By the Riverside; Drunken Sailor; Beautiful Dreamer; Here Comes the Sun; Erie Canal; All My Trials; Frankie & Johnny; Minstrel Boy; Wayfaring Stranger; Blowin' In the Wind; Intersection. You can sample these songs at CDBaby by searching under "Adams Rasely" or use the link on the Listening Rooms page on this site.
$15.98 (OB18207)

Other CD's featuring Tom Rasely, guitarist:

"Meditations"- Tom Rasely

"Meditations" is a collection of 36 two-minute instrumental songs. They were originally designed and created as background for a set of inspirational CDs from The Jireh Foundation in Honolulu HI, featuring well-known radio personality Del Gibbs as narrator. This CD contains over 74 minutes worth of soothing music played on guitars and keyboards, with occasional bass.

"Leftovers"- Tom Rasely

"Leftovers" is a collection of 14 songs that were created over a period of 12 years. They were written for a variety of reasons, and none of them ever made it onto any other album. It's an oddball selection of mostly vocal tunes, with 2 "bonus" instrumental cuts. And yes, that is a picture of Tom's refrigerator on the front!
No samples. However, you can order a copy for $12 through Paypal (plus $2.00 shipping).

"One To One"- Tom Rasely & The Raze

A COMPLETE LIST OF TITLES INCLUDES:
Innuendo, In The Light, Mucho Mas, New Blues, La Valse, One To One, Pretty Lady, Nice Things Come & Go, Walkin' Home, Le Petite Pastiche, Mon Ami, Anyway, and Rose.

"One To One" is a collection of original instrumental guitar music featuring Tom on guitars and keyboards, Dan Lovett on bass, "Pup" Martinez and Bob Tousignant on drums and percusion, and Tom Boston appears in his well-known role of "enhancements".
You can LISTEN to samples. Or order a copy for $12 through Paypal (plus $2.00 shipping).

"Cross In The Road/Something New"- Tom Rasely

A COMPLETE LIST OF TITLES INCLUDES:
Do You Know It?, Quietly, Angel's Rejoice, You Think I'm Wrong, Shining Like Stars, Seed After Seed, He Said "I Go", Where You Gonna Be?, Flowers That Never Bloom, Seek First, The Master's Plan, Communion, Arms of Jesus, Children of Light, Glory to God, Reflections, Jesus Christ Is Lord, All to the Glory of God, Feed My Lambs, Hosanna.

This is a re-mastered combination of "Cross In The Road" (1983) and "Something New" (1986): two albums featuring Tom's vocal talents and songwriting; fully orchestrated. 60 minutes, 20 songs. Surprisingly the music doesn't sound too dated, and the message is timeless.

"Moonlight Concert"- Tom Rasely

A COMPLETE LIST OF TITLES INCLUDES:
All Through The Night, Hushabye, Concerto, Moonlight, Lagrima, Evening Prayer, Little Star, Rueben & Rachel, If All The World Were Young, Flow Gently, Sweet Afton, Air, Lullaby.

With this album you not only get some very pretty music, but you also get some informative liner notes. "Moonlight" also features four songs enhanced by players from the Binghamton Philharmonic. The word "concert" is used here to mean a collection of music, not a live performance. This CD is in a more classical style, centered around the soft sound of the nylon-string guitar. The result: "Moonlight Concert", a peaceful collection of night-time melodies.

As Nan from Buffalo wrote, "I just got home from work, put it on, and rested on the couch listening to it- it was so relaxing, I fell asleep before the end- please take that as a compliment!"

Tom's reply: "Sounds like I did my job."

You can LISTEN to samples. Or order a copy for $12 through Paypal (plus $2.00 shipping).

TOM'S INSTRUMENTS:

Yamaha CGX171CCA solid cedar-top classical guitar, with cutaway (Augustine strings).

Yamaha SBG-200 solid body electric guitar (SG clone).

Casio CTK-750 keyboard.

RK-101 35-note key tree.

Scotch C-38 tape dispenser.

- The "key tree" is just what it sounds like: a chime tree made out of car keys, house keys, padlock keys. It has a particularly light "tinkly" sound. I got the idea from Lance DeMers, an extraordinary drummer and Christian brother.

- The Scotch tape dispenser referred to is the molded plastic desk-model, that's filled with sand. The best way to play it is to remove the tape & spool, and of course the blade. It has a much softer sound than a cabasa. What? You thought we were kidding?
